Homemade natural cleaning or store bought green cleaning products? I'm starting a home cleaning business. It seems that the best way to go would be with natural and non toxic cleaning supplies. My question is should I make my own cleaners at home with vinegar, baking soda and the like or should I buy "green" cleaners in bulk from a company? The homemade way would be more cost effective but I believe customers would feel more comfortable if they knew we were using safe cleaning products from a known company. Does anyone have any experience in this?

What cleaning products are best for cleaning a house that needs a lot of work? My boyfriend just bought a house for us but the house needs a lot of work. While he's doing the repair work, I plan to clean the rooms. I don't want to use homemade products for this because you have to mix way too many things. I'm willing to pay for the cleaning products but I need to make sure I get the right ones. The products I'll need will be mostly for the following: oven/stove grease, soap scum, wood floors, etc. I have only seen the inside once so I can't really remember everything that needs work. Just imagine everything that goes in a house that hasn't been properly taken care of. I'd like a list of cleaning products and how good they are if anyone can find one or can just share their opinions. I appreciate it. Thank you =]

How to clean stain on a beige carpet? There are various stains on my carpet and I'd like to clean them all. The carpet is beige so I don't want to take chances with hardcore cleaning products, if possible more natural ones or homemade tips that won't risk discoloring the carpet. I think some of the stains could be oil, minor burns, food. I have already vacuumed over and tried to remove them with dishsoap and a water (did not work). What are some "conservative" approaches to attempting to cleaning these stains?
