what kind of cleaner i should use to clean nipple covers?

i just bought a set of nipple covers recently, but they've got kinda dirty with some kind of hair like stuff on them (i think they are from the clothes that i wore) after i wore them a couple of times. i would just like to know how to clean those nipple covers? the box says use "neutral cleaner and a dry towel to clean them". im planning to buy the cleaner on ebay, but i just dont know what kind of neutral cleaner i should use. does anyone have any idea?

1. a neutral cleaner is a gentle soap that won't remove the adhering agent. Don't scrup them, just lightly wash in your fingers. Rinse in cold water and let dry.
2. I am sure soap and water will do the trick! When my babies were small I was worried about washing the rubber nipples from their bottles, I was thinking I had to keep sterilizing them in boiling water. A very wise lady said to me "do you wash your own boobs with boiling water?" Kind of put things in perspective for me!
