Do you need a permitt or a license to start a house cleaning business?
Any advice? I am 16 and I'm trying to start my own house cleaning business so I can make some extra cash for benefit issues. So please, any advice. I would truly appreciate it.

- Bianca, this is "Wonderful" news!! At your age, to be so business minded!! Yes, you will need to go to your local court house, and ask them where to go to get a license for your own business..... And it will cost a bit of a price, maybe anywhere from $50.00- $200.00, it depends on what state you live in and what type of business, etc.... My brother-in-law, had a coca cola collection he wanted to sell, so he rented a little downtown shop, and brought all of his collection down there, to sell. He did need a business license, however to do this, and I do believe that it cost's him around $40.00 to get his business license. We all live in Kingman Arizona, if that helps you at all. You do not have to have any kinds of benefits for your employees..... And you can advertise for higher through your local newspaper, for a small price. See, how much for however long you will need to be highering others to work for you, though. Good Luck to you, hun!!! We here at Yahoo, are sooooo Proud of your insentive at such a young age, you can be a very Good Mentor for young people with the Goals you have!! How Wonderful this is!!! Smile!! And the Best of Luck for your NEW BUSINESS!!!!
